A large Company is interested in the positioning of Systems Engineer / IT engineer.

Systems Engineer/IT engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. Works under the direction of the CTO with independent responsibility for carrying out duties of the position and as well as he/she will provide expertise to the company’s Windows computing infrastructure.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the company's IT systems (approximately 70 users)
Providing coaching to other team members whenever required
Performing additional job duties as required
Support for Microsoft Windows Server, MAC OS, Citrix and VMWare technologies
Deploying, maintaining, and managing Windows systems in a virtual environment such as VMware / HyperV
Support for the Microsoft Windows stack, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Exchange in-house and hosted e-mail systems, Office 365
Provides first and second level customer support including troubleshooting issues with computer hardware, network/internet connectivity, email, and software applications
Firewall and VPNs
Liaison with vendors. Contract Administration
Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables
Administer backup and monitoring tools
Keeps well documented and updated case notes on all tickets daily

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related subject
8 or more years of related technical experience in systems monitoring and maintenance
Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server technologies
Exchange/Office 365 complement your core competences
Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, Firewalls)
A high level of teamwork and communication skills, independent, structured and solution-oriented work, engagement and a high readiness
Comfortable with all aspects of system administration like: system installation and configuration, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software
Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
Any knowledge on SQL or SAP and Panasoft will be an asset
