Θέση εργασίας: Senior Web Developer (Αθήνα)

We are looking for a Web Developer who will maintain and enhance our high-traffic websites and will also help us build new web applications.
 
Responsibilities:

• Write testable and efficient code for the front and back-end.
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain core software and databases.
• Management of hosting environment (web & database server).
• Optimize core LAMP stack for speed and scalability.
• Collaboration with web designers to accurately implement their layouts / user interfaces.
• Data migration, when needed.
• Scripting solutions for every-day problems.
• Setup and administration of backups.
• Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them in our stack, if needed.

Required skills:

• 2+ years of working experience as web developer.
• Excellent knowledge of PHP language.)δ
• Rock solid knowledge of MySQL and Apache server administration.
• In-depth knowledge of caching systems, i.e. Memcached.
• Excellent knowledge of front-end languages/toolkits i.e. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
• Good understanding of the DOM.
• Experience in Web Services and technologies like JSON, XML.
• Experience with responsive design implementation.
• Experience with source control systems, i.e. Git.
• Problem solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Passion for secure coding.
• Willingness to improve coding skills.
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail.

Preferred skills:

• BSc / MSc in Computer Science or other related field.
• Experience with object-oriented code and latest PHP standards.
• Expertise in LAMP administration and Bash scripting.
• Proven experience with Drupal and module development.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.

Nice To Have:

• Good understanding of REST standards and RESfull APIs.
• Familiarity with libraries such as Composer, Guzzle and Symphony.
• Twig theming experience.
