BrainBox SA is one of the largest companies in the development of specialized software systems for sustainable mobility, shared bicycles, special software for management of remote stations, applications and mobile apps. More than 55 cities in Greece, Cyprus, Poland and Norway host BrainBox mobility systems and software.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, who will join the software development team of the company. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for developing backend systems, web applications and APIs and will work with the rest of the team. Previous service development in mobile applications on iOS and / or Android is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Development of internet or mobile applications
• Participation in application design and architecture
• Ability to solve technical problems
• Ability to work in a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a corresponding position
• Excellent knowledge of PHP and PHP Frameworks (Laravel)
• Excellent knowledge of HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3, jQuery, Javascript
• Excellent knowledge of JSON, API, REST
• Knowledge Version Control (Git)
• Ability to respond to strict deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of English
• High sense of responsibility and emphasis on detail
• Strong team spirit, initiative and innovative thinking

Desired qualifications:

• Good knowledge of application development on mobile devices (iOS, Android)
• Server / cloud administration, AWS, Linux
